Meijer shopping trip 5/22/2011

Last week was a major bomb when it came to my grocery budget. I hadn't gone shopping the week before; ended up spending over $200. In reality, that's 2 weeks worth of budget money so it's about even... but, it just about killed me to spend it all at once. My cashier this week was not the best, in fact, I'm a bit pissed because she only said one word to me "Bye." when I left. Whatever.... doesn't change the fact that I had some amazing deals!! :)

Here's what I did today! I did TWO transactions; the first, was very easy.

Meijer promotion: Buy 2, get $2.00 off instantly. That made them $3.99 ea.

It printed a ton of CATs! 25 free Pampers points, a special deal with pampers diapers (too bad I don't have a kid in diapers anymore! Of course, I can't give it to a customer or anything because the same card HAS to be used to get the promo! Darn it! I was hoping to spread the wealth! $1.00 off of fresh ground beef, $1.50 off Tombstone pizza, $.75 off Heluva Good!)
